Festung Guernsey is a facsimile edition of an original German manuscript left behind in the Channel Islands in 1944.

This complex document details the fortification of the islands in photographs, charts , maps and panoramic watercolour fold outs up to 5 times A4 . This presented a unique challenge for Burman’s who produced all the printwork for the 972 page set. It was finished by hand in a quarter leather bind by Cotswold Bookbinders. It sold out within 24 hours of its launch.
